Welcome to the second happiest place on earth! Nestled in the Eastern Sierra among the Inyo National Forest, our rustic cabins at Cardinal Village Resort are surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Located near the tiny community of Aspendell, a historic village built at the turn of the century to serve the Cardinal gold mine. Our historic cabins offer a unique experience. Our resort is bordered to the west by Bishop creek with a picturesque pond teaming with trout at the east side of the property. Each one of our cabins offer views of Cardinal Pinnacle, a picnic area, firepit, and suitable amenities to make your stay more comfortable.

We are serving up fresh pizza from the wood fire oven from June to August, Fridays and Saturdays. Reservations are currently closed for the season but we’ll be back in 2026!
